B.S. Psychology Brigham Young University 2005
PhD Counseling Psychology Purdue University 2011
I am a licensed psychologist in the state of Kentucky. I am located in Lexington but do telehealth with individuals all around the state. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Brigham Young University in 2005 and then earned a doctorate degree in counseling psychology from Purdue University in 2011. I also completed a pre-doctoral internship at the University of South Carolina.
I worked full time as a staff psychologist at the University of Kentucky's Counseling Center for ten years where I did clinical work and provided training and supervision to doctoral students. I transitioned to full-time private practice work in 2021 where I see individuals and couples from the local community and throughout the state. I am predominantly an interpersonal process therapist, though I incorporate many cognitive behavioral, emotion-focused, and family systems techniques into my work.
